Varsity Girls Basketball

The Wyverns opened up after the break on the road against a formidable St. Lukes team who currently sits top 5 in B-Large. The Wyverns got off to a slow start and found themselves down 15 early in the first quarter. Both teams traded blows the rest of the half and early into the second half until a late run by the Wyverns cut the lead to 2 going into the 4th quarter. The final quarter saw multiple lead changes as the game came down to the wire but the Wyverns fell short in the end. They were led by Dalila Malz (14 points and 19 rebounds), Katie Reale (12 points and 6 rebounds) and Sam Gonzalez (12 points). They return to action this Friday against Westiminister.
