The girls varsity basketball team headed to Watertown to take on the rhinos of Taft in our first game of the 23-24 season. It was a close game throughout and a nice start to the season. Our wyverns played a solid game on both ends of the court giving their best effort and playing together at all times. Samaria Gonzalez ’26 led our scorers with 14 points followed by Aashni Patel ’24 with 10.
