V Girls Basketball

The varsity girls basketball team traveled to Simsbury to take on Westminster and our wyverns came home with a 38-30 win. Our girls jumped out to an early lead but the martlets made some changes defensively and our shots weren’t falling so heading into half time the martlets had a four point lead. The wyverns made defense the focus for the second half knowing that our shots would start falling again. We were successful in holding them to only 10 points in the half while we scored twenty two. Perseverance and gritty play allowed our wyverns to come home with the win.
