JV Field Hockey

The JV field hockey continued on the road at Hopkins on Wednesday October 10.

The team put a great overall effort but in the end Hopkins was won their home grass field prevailed. The Wyverns were on defense early on trying to break through Hopkins strong sticks and big hits on the slow surface. We adapted but not before we were down 1-0 at half. Charlotte Mandell ‘22 had several incredible saves in goal including 2 diving saves. The defense team of Caroline Boardman ‘22, Amelia Boardman ‘20, Snehaa Ram ‘21 and Gabi Abramson ‘22 played very strong defense to keep the Hopkins team from shooting. Allie Wildstein ‘22 and Anusha Memon ‘20 had several nice offensive carries in the game.  A great team effort on the road. The combined JV and Varsity will take on Hopkins Varsity team on Hewett day at 11am on the Hoffman turf.
