KO pulls off an overtime win!

Strong defense and a timely goal resulted in the Wyverns picking up their first win of the season on Monday, 1-0 over Wilbraham & Monson in OT. Alex D’Addabbo ‘20 scored the game’s only goal, her third of the season, to lift Kingswood Oxford to the win.  The victory evened the Wyverns’ record at 1-1. Caitlin Budzik ’21 earned the shutout with help from defenders Keegan McMahon ’21, Julia Dugan ’21 and Margo Dowgiewicz ’21. “Caitlin played a fantastic game. She was aggressive and let nothing in,” KO Coach Nikki Blake said. “We also had an outstanding game on defense. Nothing could get by them.  Not only did they have a lot of great hits and lifts that helped us to our victory, they kept the ball from entering the goal.”
