Win 22-6

KO MS Wyvern Football played host to their long time rival Hopkins of New Haven 10/4 . The action would be the first game of the season for both teams and lots of questions about the KO team would be answered quickly. The KO offense drove the field in just a few plays with a long TD run by Peter Lewis on a reverse. Ko worked its running game all day with Quincy Arnold adding two more touchdowns and several good runs by QB Erik Szyluk and RB Drew Doering.  

 The KO defense also played well holding Hopkins scoreless till the last drive of the game. Top defensive players of the game included Amir Watermen and Briggs Leary who put pressure on the Hopkins QB on almost every play. Outstanding efforts on both sides of the ball for KO were had by many players but the stand outs of the day included Quincy Arnold , Reid Harrison, Jonathan Frimpong and Kyle O’Shaughnessy , who controlled the game all day for KO.

Final score was KO 22 Hopkins 6 and a great start to the season for KO MS Football .
