Golf – Varsity vs Kent School, Loomis Chaffee School, Westminster School – Away

Varsity Golf

The Wyvern Varsity golfers struggled in their second match of the season.  On a cold, damp, blustery day, the linksters found it hard to find the fairways and greens at an unfamiliar course. 

Garth Swandon‘19 led the way with a solid 40, followed by Henry Krieble’21 with a 42. The other team members failed to break the “bogey” mark, leading to an unusually high team score of 233.  The Wyverns are back in action this weekend, looking to get back on track, albeit at the tight Farmington Woods layout, home of Avon’s Winged Beavers..
