Hewett Day vs Kent School – Home

JV Volleyball

Our Hewett Day game was definitely one to remember.

The team mounted a momentous comeback after losing the first 2 sets of the game, and every member of the team contributed to the turning of the tide. At the service line, Ahana Nagarkatti ’21 fired quick, low serves over the net to give us the advantage at the start of the point, and she transitioned seamlessly to defense in order to effectively receive Kent’s most difficult serves. Hailey Williams ’23 brought grit and consistency to all areas of the court, bringing strong serving and relentless hitting to put our offense back on track. Co-captains Esha Kataria ’20 and Olivia Pear ’21 provided the accurate setting and contagious energy that kept the team producing quality plays to take the last 3 sets. This was a real triumph for the team, and we look forward to taking this momentum to Suffield on 10/23.
