Hewett Day vs Westminster School – Home

JV Girls Soccer

The girls JV soccer team took on Westminster school on a beautiful Saturday afternoon for Hewett Day.

Unfortunately, the girls were a bit sluggish and flat during the first part of the game and eventually gave up a goal to go down 1-0 15 minutes into the half. After the goal, the Wyverns picked up their play a bit and created some of their own chances, but could not finish. The Wyverns regrouped at half time and controlled much more of the second half, but again could not find the back of the net. Westminster scored a second goal with 8 minutes remaining to put the game away with a 2-0 win. Cai Kuivila ’20 made 8 saves in net.The Wyverns are 6-4 with Hotchkiss coming in for senior day this Saturday.
