Very similar to the 1st contest between the these 2 teams, The Wyvern and the Green dragons would find themselves scoreless through the 1st period. Despite dominating puck possession and outs shooting Hamden Hall, Ko was left with nothing on the score board. The 2nd period and the long change would lead to opportunity for KO. The Wyvern would see a power play opportunity shortly after. KO’s PP once again paid off as Quinn Heal ‘27 would score net front (Assist Ryan Munz ‘26) to put KO up 2-0. KO would add a 3rd goal in the Period when Mike Denardo would find the back of the net on a pass from Krish Patel ‘26 giving KO a 3-0 lead at the 2nd break. The 3rd period would be dominated by the KO Forecheck, led checking liners , Mason Cerkanowicz ‘ 28, Quinn Heal ‘27, Matt Towne ‘28. Jack Griffin ‘30, Kai Scranton ‘28 and Hayden Liddy ‘27 also provided intense offensive pressure and wore down the Green dragons with tenacious puck possession and offensive pressure. But the scoring would next come from Senior Captain Dalton Smith on an unassisted goal on a rush up the ice and beating the Hamden Hall goal thru the 5 hole.
