Ice Hockey – Varsity vs King – Away

On Saturday 1/27, the KO Hoclkey team travelsed to Stamfrd CT to play the 2nd game in the serives this season vs King. The KO Defense should up early in the game. back and forechecking were on display in a defensive battle. King would score first late in the 1st period and take a 1-0 lead into the locker room between periods.

The 2nd period was hard fought but there was no scoring in the period. The third period saw a series of hard attacks and unfortunately KO Gave up two power play goals to King in the period. KO Would get on the board later when Alex Oliviera ’25 would make a rush from his defensive potision to the net. Taken to the ice by a king player, Alex was able to shoot the puck past the King Goalie for the score.

Shane Smith ’26 played well in the Cage for the Wyvern saving 38 of 42 shot on net.
