KO Hockey hosted The Wooster School Generals this past Saturday night at the South Windsor Arena in a non -league contest. KO jumped out into the lead when Hayden Liddy ’27 would find Colton Bishoff ’26 after a Wooster turnover 4 minutes into the contest. Liddy ’27 and Bishoff would connect again 3 minutes later on the the 2nd KO Goal. A third KO goal would be scored when Alex Oliveira ’25 would make a bullet pass to “Krish Patel ’26 on a hard drive to the net, beating the Generals Goalie. The Gernals would add a goal later in the period to bring the score to 3-1 at the end of the 1st period.

KO Came out strong in the 2nd period. 5 minutes in Alex Oliveira ’25 would score his first goal at KO on a pass form Krish Patel ’26. 4 minutes later Colton Bishoff ’26 would tally his 3rd goal of the game (Hat Trick) on a feed from Patel ’26. The Generals would add aanother goal later in the period, but KO would respond with a 6th score just before the end of the period when Gordon Beck ’27 would notch his first KO Hockey goal on a pass from Kyle O’Shaughnessy ’28. The final tally of the period would bring the score to 6-2 in favor of KO heading into the locker room.

The 3rd period proved to be all KO. Krish Patel would find his 2nd and 3rd goals (Hat Trick) of the game on assist from Bishoff ’26 and KO Captain Dalton Smith ’26. Hayden Liddy would add another goal late in the 3rd period on a feed from Bryce Schaller ’29 to round out the scoring at 9-2. Shane Smith ’26 and Duncan Burd ’27 would combine on the gaol dutiest to seal the win got KO.

KO Hockey is now 4-2 on the season heading into 3 pivotal FAA contests over the next 2 weeks.
