JV Volleyball

KO’s JV Volleyball squad played their hearts out on Saturday against an equally skilled opponent. 

After splitting the first four sets, Kingswood Oxford came through with a 15-13 win in the last. Libero Abby Baier’s defensive game was a standout, key in a game where both teams are matched in returns. Lucia Martinez-Castro’s blocks dominated and Sophie Glazier’s serve remains paramount to this team’s success. We would be remiss if we did not note the role the players on the sidelines played in this win. This is the first JV match that has gone to five sets, yet the fierce support from teammates off the court buoyed the spirits of those on the court. This truly was a win earned by every player on the team.
