The Wyverns won their first KIT Championship in over 20 years behind a gritty team effort against a very formidable, Mount Saint Charles team. The teams traded blows early on but a second quarter rally by the Wyverns gave them a 14 point lead going into halftime. Mount Saint Charles never stopped fighting but KO was able to keep that ay bay to secure the championship. The Wyverns were led by tournament MVP Dalila Malz, All Tournament 1st Team selection Samaria Gonzalez and senior captain Katie Reale.
