Varsity Girls Swimming & Diving

The girls’ Kingswood Oxford Swimming and Diving team competed well at the KO Invitational with 86
points to take 6 th place

behind winner Williston-Northampton (272) as well as Milton (207), Wilbraham &
Monson (182), Westminster (171), and Ethel Walker (111). The Wyverns swam consistently throughout
the afternoon, especially younger swimmers many of whom were competing in new events.

The Wyvern 200 Medley Relay of Stella Risinger ’22, Ahana Nagarkatti ’21, Risha Ranjan ‘21, and Sarah
Cioffi ‘23 placed 5 th overall in 2:15.20. In the 200 Free, KO was led by Stella Risinger ’22 who swam to
5 th place with a time 2:26.51. Risha Ranjan ’21 grabbed 6 th place in the 200 Individual Medley in 2:46.03.
In the 50 Free, the Wyverns were led by Serafina Squatrito who placed 4 th in her heat in 30.52, and Cai
Kuivila ’21 placed 6 th in the other heat with her swim of 31.75.

In the highlight event of the meet, the 100 Underwater Relay, the Wyverns performed well taking 5 th in
the A final with the relay of Stella Risinger ’22, Risha Ranjan ‘21, Sarah Cioffi ’23, and Ahana Nagarkatti
’21 with a time of 1:20.84. The 100 Fly proved to be good event for KO as Risha Ranjan ’21 took 5 th
place in 1:15.41. The 100 Free featured Sarah Cioffi ’23 placing 6 th in 1:05.44, and in the B final Cai
Kuivila finished in 7 th place in 1:13.35. In the C final, Esha Shrivastav ‘20 swam to 4 th place in a time of
1:10.74. In the 500 Free, Ahana Nagarkatti ’21 led the Wyverns with a 3 rd place finish in 6:06.11. Sarah
Cioffi ’23 grabbed 5 th place in the 100 Individual Medley with her time of 1:24.43, while Serafina
Squatrito swan a 1:23.27 to take 4 th in the B final.

The Wyvern sprinters took to the pool in the 200 Free Relay as the group of Esha Shrivastav ’20, Lily Liu
’22, Serafina Squatrito ’22, and Cai Kuivila ’20 finished in 2:34.45 to take 7 th . Showing her versatility
and strength, Stella Risinger ‘22 finished 5 th in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 1:17.09. In the 100
Breast, Ahana Nagarkatti ’21 placed 5 th with a time of 1:27.98, and Helen Lu ’19 took 7 th place in the B
final with her time of 1:49.29. The 400 Free Relay group of Stella Risinger ’22, Sarah Cioffi ’23, Risha
Ranjan ‘21, and Ahana Nagarkatti ’21 swam to 4 th place with a time of 4:21.55.
