Girls Varsity Lacrosse

The Girls varsity lacrosse team captured their first win of the season with a score of 11-5 against Cheshire Academy.

After a slow start the Wyverns took control heading into halftime with a 7-2 lead. Cheshire closed the gap to a 3 goal differential, which spurred our girls to make their own run and shutting down Cheshire for good. Caroline Dawson ’22 led all scorers with 4 goals on 4 of 5 shooting and added an assist. Alle Kotowitz ’23 and Abby McLaughlin ’22 added 2 goals a piece along with 2 and 1 assists, respectively. The scoring was rounded out by Kaiya Deurloo ’22, Lindsay Bailey ’22 and Kami Tarantino ’24 who all found the net once. Chayse Shamleffer ’23 had a strong game in the cage.
