V Girls Lacrosse

The varsity girls lacrosse team hosted the hornets of Hamden Hall in a great game. These two teams were well matched. The game was close throughout with multiple lead changes and ties but ultimately the hornets took the win in overtime with a final score of 11-10. The hornets were aggressive but our wyverns stayed strong and handled the physical play by focusing on what we could control and supporting each other on and off the field. The effort from all of our players is to be applauded as they competed from the first draw to the final goal. The coaches couldn’t be prouder of our entire team.
