Lacrosse – Girls Varsity vs Hopkins School – Away

Varsity Girls Lacrosse

The girls varsity lacrosse team beat Hopkins on the road on Wednesday 13-6.

After going down 2-0 early in the game the Wyverns came back to take the lead for good as the defense and GK Amelia Levine ’20 quieted the Hopkins offense to take a 6-4 lead into the break. In the second half the Wyverns only gave up 2 golas while scoring 7 for the win. Julia Lantieri ’18 scored 5 goals and had 1 assist, abby eberle ’18 scored 2 goals and handed out 4 assists, Nicole Genga ’19 and Haley Carangelo ’18 each added 2 goals, Mia Seymour ’19 had 1 goal and 1 assist, and Maitland Bailey ’18 had a goal. Amelia Levine ’20 made 11 saves in net as the Wyverns get back to 3-3 on the season.
