Varsity Girls Lacrosse

The girls varsity lacrosse team defeated Westover school 22-1 on Wednesday.

Westover girls played hard throughout and need to be given credit for their heart and fight. The Wyverns did a good job of setting each other up for goals recording 21 assists on the day and Julia Lantieri ’18 tied the scoring record of 72 goals in a season with 4 games left to play. Julia  scored 5 goals and handed out 3 assists, Nicole Genga ’19 had 5 goals, Maitland Bailey ’18 scored 2 goals and 1 assist, Mia Seymour ’19 had 2 goals and 4 assists, Catherine Daniels ’21 had 2 goals, Abby Eberle ’18 had 1 goal and 5 assists giving her 52 assists on the season, Amelia Levine ’20, Kathryn Westrick ’20, Jackie Dugan ’19, Izzy Berkmeyer ’21, and HAley Carangelo ’18 each scored 1 goal. Haley also had 3 assists. Defensemen Keegan McMahon ’21 and Sophia Kaufman ’20 up from JV played solid defense in their varsity debut. Amelia Levine and Cai Kuivila ’20 combined for 5 saves in net.
