What a way to kickoff Hewett Day weekend with a home game on the Hoffman Turf! 

Our Middle School Wyverns came ready to play. The first half showed some strong offensive chances but remained scoreless until Chadly Zahner ’29 broke through with a pass in the circle to Addison Lang ’27 for the first Wyvern goal. Lang went on to assist Sierra Wells ’27 on the second goal minutes later. The Renbrook Hawks were not deterred and put one on the board before halftime. The Wyverns came out with a game plan to spread out the field and communicate better and that they did. Scoring three goals in the second half. Giselle Brighthaupt ’29 found Zahner in the circle for the first of the second. Wells assisted to Lang, and Lang had one unassisted. The Hawks kept us on our game though scoring 2 goals to make the final tally Wyverns 5 and Hawks 3. It was a great match up with great individual efforts from Siri Tokala ’28, Ella Cipriano ’28 and Charlotte Gruber ’29. Isabela Tippner ’28 and Valerie Perkins ’28 were strong for the Wyverns in goal having a few saves each! Next up a home game against Hamden Hall on the turf Wednesday October 26 at 3:45 PM!
