KO would gain another goal to start the 3rd period when Mike DeNardo ‘26 and Krish Patel ‘26 would combine for a 2-on-, Patel would score the goal to put KO up 4-2. Rye would mount a push at the end scoring a Power Play goal and then pull their goalie to go 6-v-5 and score a 4th goal. Time would run out on the Rye season and propel the KO Wyvern into the FAA Final. Shane Smith ‘26 was again stellar in net for KO, saving 44 of 48 shots on net.
