Soccer – Boys JV vs Pomfret School – Away

Tough match on Saturday as the Boys JV Soccer team traveled to Pomfret for a friendly. Both teams battled in the 1st 40 mins and were tied at the Half, grounded by the Defensive play of the team, just not find the net. Coach Daquan King made adjustments during the halftime conversation to give the JV Wyverns new life and direction.

KO would strike first as Jared Paldino ‘26 would win a 1v1 battle out on the wing and make his way to the net and launch a shot to the back of the net, giving the JV Wyverns a 1-0 lead, Later in the half, Leo Sussman ‘25 would hit a banger from outside the 18 and beat the Pomfret goalie for KO’s second tally. Roman Morley ‘24, Robin Benz ‘27, Alex Ndiaye ‘27 & Cary Duvall ‘25 were solid on the back line & Danny Rivera ‘27 earned the shutout in net. Boys JV Soccer is now 3-1 on the season and hosts The Gunnery this Wednesday (at 4;30) on the Troutbrook field
