Soccer – Boys MS vs Har-Bur Middle School – Away

Har-Bur proved to be a very tough opponent, as the majority of their team are 8th graders, most of whom play club soccer. So, we certainly had our hands full with a talented opponent. We got out of the gates quickly with a great goal scoring opportunity in the first minute, but we were unable to convert. Har-Bur was able to put 3 goals on the board by halftime, as they had strong play in the midfield and up front. The second half was closely contested, but we could not keep Har-Bur off the scoreboard as they notched three more goals. We finally scored a goal as Will Doering put one past their keeper on a play that was pure hustle. Our younger players stepped up, as Nico Durao (UP) and Jack Ritter (Fm 1) played well. Next up is Renbrook, another talentefd squad, as we host them on a Friday afternoon.
