Soccer – Boys MS vs Renbrook School – Away

First I want to say how proud all of the coaches are for the hard work and grit the kids showed on Friday afternoon at Renbrook. Playing against a deep and talented team with plenty of 8th graders, we hung tough for the entire match. The game was scoreless at the half, as our goalie Brendan Sills played an unbelievable half, making multiple excellent saves. Our defensive backline of Connor Jo, Mason Benavides, Nico Durao, and Bennett Shea played quite well under consistent pressure. Of note, Bennett jumped into the starting lineup as we were down two defenders. He did an outstanding job. Renbrook finally got on the board with 11 minutes remaining, and that turned out to be the only goal of the match. It was a tremendous effort and the kids have every reason to be proud of themselves. Though our Form 2 players will be moving on the Upper School, we return a strong group of Upper Prep and Form 1 players for next year. Well done, boys!
