On our Hewett Day (Wednesday before Hewett Day) game, the boys MS A team pushed its record to 4-0 with a convincing 5-0 victory over Wilbraham & Monson. KO controlled the play from the outset, but Wilbraham had the best scoring chance early on a break away that goalie Jackson Ramsey defended wonderfully by coming off his line and cutting off the angle to deflect the shot wide. It was a game where our everyone played significant minutes, and four of our five goals were scored by players ( Xander Gingeleskie (UP), Mason Benavides (UP) , Quinn Waldron (Fm 1), and Paxton Tarantino (UP) ) who tallied their first career KO goal! Additionally, three of these players are in Upper Prep! The other goal was scored by Jeremiah Moyano (Fm1), who put KO on the board with our first goal. The player of the game was the Wilbraham goalkeeper, who was superb in saving at least 15 shots. Lastly, KO’s four goalies, Jackson Ramsey (Fm2), Oliver Nicholson (UP), Parker Lacroix (UP), and Brendan Sills (UP) combined to secure the shutout. It was a good team effort, and next up is the alway strong Hopkins team, as we travel to New Haven for a Wednesday afternoon game at 3:30 on the 25th.
