Soccer – Boys Varsity vs Hotchkiss School – Away

For the first time in two decades, the Wyverns faced off against the Bearcats of Hotchkiss. The black and crimson got off to a hot start off the bus. In the first half, Grant Daigle ‘24 fed Sam Cote ‘24 to open the scoring, and twenty minutes later the duo switched roles to set the halftime score at 2-0.

The Wyverns continued their strong play in the second half, but Hotchkiss was hungry and earned a penalty kick off a counter attack to cut the lead to 2-1. In the final minute, an untimely midfield foul allowed the Bearcats to send a booming free kick from midfield, which found a few heads before floating into the upper corner to tie the game at 2-2.

KO sits 0-0-1 and heads to Greenwich Country Day School on Monday, Sept. 18.
