Boys Varsity Soccer
Our matchup against Kent School was a challenging contest against a strong, talented squad featuring international players, ending in a 5–1 loss. Despite the scoreline, our team showed determination and moments of excellent play.
Kingswood came out strong, and senior Corey Nguyen showcased his vision and skill with a perfectly timed assist to senior Colton Bischoff in the box, giving us an early 1–0 lead. It was a great example of how our seniors continue to lead by example on the field.
Kent responded in the 34th minute, leveling the score, and the first half ended tied 1–1. Our defense worked hard to limit their opportunities, but Kent’s quality started to show more in the second half. They scored two quick goals in the 50th and 52nd minutes, and despite our continued effort, they added two more to make the final score 5–1.
Throughout the match, our players fought with intensity and never gave up. Even in a tough game, it was encouraging to see our team compete hard and demonstrate resilience.
