JV Girls Soccer
The girls jv soccer defeated Kent School 4-0 on Wednesday at home.
After pressuring the goal for most of the first half Sophia Shultz ’21 scored off a cross from Remy McCoy ’20 half way through the half. 4 minutes later Jackie Dugan ’19 scored unassisted. 6 minutes later Molly Jones ’20 deflected a Sloan Duvall ’21 cross into the net to give the Wyverns a 3-0 lead at the half. In the second half we rescrambled the lineup to allow girls to play different positions. Natalia Correa ’22 scored off a pass from Emma Kate Johansen ’19 for a 4-0 lead and then Natalia switched to goalkeeper to allow Maeve McDonald ’19 to play attack. The rest of the game was spent mostly in the KO attacking area but they did not convert the opportunities that arose. The Wyverns are now 4-0 on the season.
