Soccer – Girls Varsity vs Cheshire Academy – Away

Girls Varsity Soccer

Grils Varsity Soccer earned the 3-0 victory over Cheshire Academy.

Girls’ Varsity Soccer traveled to Cheshire Academy for an early morning game on Saturday, September 29th. KO opened the match with more intensity and a sense of urgency. Gianna Christiana ‘22 served a beautiful corner midway through the first half and Annelise Vaughn ‘21 calmly volleyed it into the goal to put KO up 1-0. Early in the second half, Catherine Daniels ‘21 found herself in behind the defense and was able to give KO a 2-0 lead due to an unselfish ball played by Claudia Petrie ‘19.  To put things out of reach, Aimee Zheng ‘22 notched her first varsity goal after working relentlessly for the entire match. Overall it was a solid team effort and a step in the right direction.
