Varsity Girls Soccer

Girls’ Varsity Soccer took the pitch against Kent on Wednesday, October 10th.

KO began the match playing with purpose. Catherine Daniels ’20 and Jamie Scarpantonio ’20 did a fantastic job maintaining possession in the middle of the field. With 2 minutes to go in the first half, Daniels, after receiving a slotted ball from Isabel Jacobson ’21, dribbled the ball past a few defenders before placing it past the Kent goalkeeper. Defensively, Nicole Genga ’19 and Gianna Christiana ’22 stepped up and really prevented Kent from gaining any momentum in the attack. Charlotte Cyr ’19 recorded the shutout as KO went on to win 1-0.
