The KO girls faced a strong Suffield Academy on Saturday with 5 players out due to injuries. Despite being out-manned, KO fought hard during the first half keeping Suffield off the board and getting some opportunities toward goal. Suffield finally broke through midway through the second half gaining a 1-0 lead. KO had a couple of opportunities to equal the score but could not convert. Suffield scored 3 goals in the last 15 minutes as the short-handed KO girls ran out of gas. Serena Zhou, Giuliana Fuzzard, Gianna Guerrera, Taylor Caldwell, and GK Lizzie Raccio played well. KO looks to get back in the win column on Monday against Cheshire Academy.
