Soccer – Girls Varsity vs Suffield Academy – Away

The varsity girls soccer team traveled to Suffield to take on the tigers on their parents weekend. Even though our wyverns came home with a 2-0 loss our girls played a strong game. The score was 0-0 at the half as our wyverns held off multiple close opportunities for the tigers. The second half was more of the same as our girls continued to fight hard but the tigers were able to find the back of the net twice. Though we had our own opportunities at goal we just couldn’t get a shot past their goalie. The effort from our wyverns was there from the opening touch to the final horn and the coaches could not be prouder of how our girls played against a tough Suffield squad.
