KO tuning a corner with comeback win late

Total team victory for Kingswood as 16 players contribute to victory

Hailey Williams ’23 got the start in the circle, her first start at pitcher for the Wyverns, and was sharp through 3 innings, holding the Hamden Hall to just 1 run. The Wyverns got into a bit of trouble in the 4th surrendering the lead and eventually trailing 4-1. Relentlessly the KO offense continued to pressure the Hamden Hall team and broke through in the top of the 6th inning for not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 runs triggered by a key bases loaded line drive up the middle by Sophia Radmanovich 24′. Sophia also contributed with a key defensive catch in the bottom of the 6th with the bases loaded to end the rally. The Lady Wyverns manufactured 2 more runs in the top of the 7th and took a 7-4 lead. The highlights of the game were undoubtedly the total team win Offensive contributions from up and coming Freshman Maggie Poulin 24’ Solid defense from Alex Segal 25′ in key situations to secure victory.
