In the 11-5 win, KO jumped out early manufacturing runs against the powerful St Lukes pitcher, putting the ball in play via the bunt. moving kids over and getting a couple of timely hits. The first half of the game was an entertaining back and forth pitchers duel and through 3 innings Kingswood was down 4-3. However the KO leaders Dunnirvine 23′ and Vail 22’ combined for 3HR’s in the 5th and 6th innings to cap off big rallies started by Aubrey Wolfradt ’24 and Caitlin Budzik 21’ and we saw KO take a 10-4 lead. Kingswood tacted on one more run in the 7th and secured a 11-4 victory. Kylie Wolfradt ’22 showed up on both sides of the ball making diving catches in the outfield, and creating havoc on the bases. This was a start to finish game plan executed win for the Wyverns to cap off a fantastic 2021 season.
