The KO Girls Varsity Squash team had a tough 7-0 loss against Berkshire. In the no. 1 and 2 positions, Clara Toomey ’27 and co-captain Sanya Sadiq ’26 were ready to attack on the volley and keep their opponent guessing with the trajectory of each shot. In the no. 5 spot, Racheal Segal ’28 balanced precise soft straight drives with crushed volleys and cross courts, using pacing to control important points. In the no. 7 spot, Vysh Setru ’30 used each game to improve her reading of her opponent’s shots and to take initiative to flip her defensive play into offense. In the no. 7 spot, Ava Patel ’28 was ready for relentless rallies built on the foundation of her great court sense, pinpointing the most damaging areas of the court to hit it to and sending her opponent running there. It was a good showing with players playing up a few spots on the ladder. Let’s go, KOSQ!
