Squash – Girls Varsity vs Westminster School – Away

Varsity Girls Squash

The KO Girls Varsity Squash team had a 7-0 loss at Westminster with some solid individual performances against a strong opponent. Valerie Perkins had highly contested games in the no. 1 spot, using the width and height of the court effectively to turn the tide in key points. Co-captain Sanya Sadiq ‘26 in the no. 3 spot was in a tight battle for control over the T through volleys and precise shot placement. Nina Mattamana ‘30 brought more and more adaptive offensive strategy to her match in the no. 5 spot, and Ava Patel ‘28 was crushing great backhand drives and forehand cross courts in the no. 6 spot. Riya Sekaran ‘28 used height on the front wall and volleys on the return to battle for every point in the no. 7 spot. In the no. 8 spot, Noa Taback ‘28 took each point to her opponent by moving the ball strategically around her opponent at every opportunity for a hard fought match. Let’s go, KOSQ!
