V Girls Swimming & Diving

The KO Girls Swim Team had their final dual meet of the season against Ethel Walker, Westover, and Northfield Mount Hermon (JV Team).

The swimmers did very well. The relay of  Allie Wildstein ‘22, Miya Scranton ‘25, Stella Risenger‘22, and Makenzie Gallagher’25 came in 3rd in the 200 Medley relay. Stephanie Lu’23 and Maggie Poulin’24 both swam well in the 200 free coming in 3rd and 4th. Stella Risenger’22 had a great 200 IM coming in first place and Makenzie Gallagher’25 tied for 4th place. This was our first tie for the season! Aubrey Wolfradt’24 and Sasha Dausey both had a nice 50 free coming in 5th and 7th. Stella’22 and Charlotte Eberle’23 swam hard in the 100 fly coming in 3rd and 5th. In the 100 free, Mackenzie’25 and Miya’25 came in 4th and 6th. Allie Wildstein’22 dominated the 500 free winning by almost a whole minute. Allie’22 and Maggie’24 also swam the 100 back coming in 3rd and 6th. The 100 breast was one of the most exciting of the day. Miya’25 had an awesome 100 breast coming in 2nd. In the 400 free relay, Allie Wildstein ‘22, Miya Scranton ‘25, Stella Risenger‘22, and Makenzie Gallagher’25 came in 2nd while the relay of  Sasha Dausey’25, Stephanie Lu’23, Anna Ollenschleger’25, and Charlotte Eberle ‘23 came in 3rd. It was a fun meet to end the dual meet season. The team now has two weeks to get ready for Founder’s Championship at Hotchkiss on February 26th.
