Varsity Boys Tennis

Today we celebrated our four seniors, Ciaran, Pratt, Saahit, and Aarav. Ciaran and Pratt each played 6 years on the Varsity Team, and Saahit 4 years. Aarav has done very well in his first year on the Varsity Team, and 4 years in the program. They have given so much to this program and KO as a whole. We knew this would be a tough match, and that is exactly what we got. We earned the doubles point with wins at #1 and #2, with Ciaran/Pratt playing quite well at 1, as did Isaiah and Neil at 2. Logan and Saahit dropped a close match at 3, 8-6. In singles, we clinched the win with victories at at the 1 through 4 spots, as Ciaran, Pratt, Isaiah, and Neil each won in straight sets. Although Aashir was unable to pull out the supertiebreaker at #6, he played a strong first and a solid match as a whole. Saahit played remarkably steady player, who outlasted him 7-5, 6-2. Berkshire made us work very hard to earn a 5-2 victory, just as we have made opponents that have beaten us work hard to do so.
