Varsity Boys Tennis

On Saturday afternoon, the Boys V Tennis team earned a 7-0 victory to push our record to 2-1. 

KO jumped out to a great start by sweeping the doubles, with Luke Riemann/Adam Sonntag at #1, Avi Shastri/Teddy Keegan at #2, and Max-William Kanz/Jacob Schwartz at #3.  Even with the absence of 3 of our top 4 in the singles lineup, everyone stepped up and played well. At #1 singles, Adam Sonntag played his best tennis of the season to a 6-0, 6-0 victory. Avi Shastri also won in straight sets in his first match of the season coming back from injury. Jacob Schwartz and Teddy Keegan also won in straight sets at #3 and #4 singles. Both continue to play well in their first seasons as Varsity players. At #5 and #6 singles, Jaden Weinstein and Andrew Holland earned the first Varsity singles victories of their KO careers. Michael Autorino and  Jack Gao also earned victories in their exhibition singles matches, capping a nice day for the entire team. Next up is a match at Loomis Chafee on Monday, April 15th.
