Varsity Boys Tennis

Playing a 4/3 no repeat format that their league requires, we knew that with a some holiday absences it would be a test of our depth. We had convincing wins at 1 (Pratt Blair) and 2 (Isaiah Shobola), but lost third set supertiebreakers at 3 (Neil Reddy) and 4 (Saahit Gaddipati). At #3 doubles, the brother combination of Aarav Mathur and Aashir Mathur came through with a big victory, 6-3, 6-1, as each earned their first Varsity victory. The fourth and deciding point was earned by Noah Sadowsky and Reid Burtman (who was playing in his first varsity match), as they won a close 7-5, 5-7, 10-6 win. Next up is Taft for a home match on Tuesday, Apr. 7th.
