Varsity Boys Tennis

On Tuesday afternoon, the boys V tennis team hosted Hamden Hall in our season opener.

The indoor courts allowed us to play the match on a rainy day. Both coaches decided to play singles first, and KO played well on our way to straight sets victories in each match. Luke Riemann (‘19), captain William Appleton (‘18), Adam Na (‘21), Max-William Kanz (‘22), Jaden Weinstein (‘21), and Nat Bates (‘18) played the #1 – 6 singles respectively. In the doubles, KO earned victories at #1, with Avi Shastri (‘20) and Adam Na (‘21) earning an 8-3 victory. At #2, William Appleton (‘18) and Max-William Kanz (‘22) earned the victory, and at #3 doubles, Jaden Weinstein (‘21) and Nat Bates (‘18) earned a convincing win. Next up is the 46th Annual Kingswood Invitational Tennis Tournament (K.I.T.T.), as we host a tournament filled with superb programs (Hotchkiss, Choate, Lawrenceville, Deerfield, Westminster, Groton, Hall High School). Our next dual match is at Deerfield, next Wednesday, April 11th.
