Varsity Boys Tennis

We hosted Taft for a late match that began at 5:00 and ended after 8:00. KO secured a hard fought doubles point with wins at #1 (Blair and Concepcion) and #3 (Gaddipati and Barash). In singles, Ciaran Concepcion played quite well but was defeated by a supremely talented opponent who is a highly ranked player from Botswana. Pratt Blair earned a straight sets win at #2 , and Gaddipati won in straight sets at # 5. Taft was simply too strong and steady at 3,4, and 6 as they earned straight set wins, though Isaiah Shobola and Neil Reddy put up valiant fights at 3 and 4. It was a tough 4-3 loss, but I was proud of how hard our guys worked and how well they played. Next up is an always talented Hopkins squad.
