Tennis – Girls JV vs Cheshire Academy – Away

JV Girls Tennis racked up our 2nd win of the season, this time on the road against Cheshire Academy. Anna Ruiz, Claire Gitner, and Luna Hansen worked hard in their singles matches, flexing that Wyvern spirit! Ava Bonsignore showed hustle and tennis smarts in her singles match, moving fast and placing shots well.

 

In doubles, the duo of Olivia Pilecki and Ava Patel took care of business as #1 doubles, while Summer McHugh and Julia Atanasio-Villa played wonderfully in their first match as a team at #2 doubles. Siri Tokala and Claudia Ripepi had a marathon match, going to a 9th-game tiebreaker, communicating well and showing determination throughout.

 

Our next match will be on April 29 at home against Miss Porter’s, with our April 25 match against Cheshire rescheduled to May 4. Let’s go, Wyverns!
