JV Girls Tennis

JV Girls Tennis won a rousing victory to celebrate the last home game for our Seniors, topping Cheshire 5–0. Alisa Ruban dominated in her singles match, winning 8-1. Captain Diya Mistri and Keysy Lopez-Diaz both faced scrappy opponents in their singles matches, but both Senior Wyverns also rallied to win 8–3 each. Audrey Karasik played in a match for the ages, winning by 1 point in a 10-point tiebreaker after playing 16 games prior against her opponent. Huge props to Audrey for her endurance! Turning to doubles, Captain Clara Drag and Francesca Lamattina were dominant, winning their match 8–0. It was a wonderful way to end our home schedule for our Seniors, whom we will deeply miss. JV Girls Tennis has our last match on Monday, 5/13, at Taft at 4:00.
