Jv Girls Tennis lost their home opener to Choate on Saturday, 0-8. In this case, however, the score does not tell the story of the day. KO won 7 games in total, which is a much more competitive showing than JV has had facing Choate in the past. Nice job, Wyverns!

Sanya Sadiq sustained long rallies with Choate’s #1 singles, while Nora Gerrits won 3 games against a hard-hitting Choate #2 singles. Luna Hansen also put up a great fight in her debut in a KO uniform. Sanya Sadiq and Olivia Pilecki, despite both having played a singles match earlier, hustled impressively against Choate’s #1 doubles, while Riya Sekaran and Siri Tokala worked on their doubles dynamic in the early spring weather outside.

The Wyverns will face Pomfret on Saturday at KO starting at 1:00 PM, so come out and support the team!
