JV Girls Tennis lost its first match of the season, 0–8, facing a stacked Taft team on the road. Francesca Lamattina and Anna Ruiz fought hard in the #1 and #2 singles positions, while a host of Wyverns played their first matches in a KO uniform, including Ava Bonsignore, Olivia Pilecki, and Gianna Guerrera.

Yvette Liao, also debuting for KO, stepped onto the court for an unexpected exhibition game. Throughout the afternoon, Elyssa Ofori-Boadu and Siri Tokala cheered on their teammates, having made the trip despite not having matches scheduled. The team identified key areas for growth, and the spirit of support and camaraderie shown on Wednesday spoke volumes about this group. The Wyverns look forward to their match against Choate this Saturday!
