Tennis – Girls JV vs Wilbraham & Monson Academy – Away

JV Girls Tennis showed great grit yesterday to secure a 4-3 victory over the home team, Wilbraham & Monson. Determination was the main feature of these matches. The Wyverns fought for every point, refusing to go down without a battle. 2 standout examples were Olivia Pilecki and Ava Patel in #1 Doubles and Delphine Lamattina and Julia Atanasio-Villa in #2 Doubles; both pairs kept their games very close, finally losing by 2 games and 3 games respectively. Lidia Martinez-Castro, Claire Gitner, and Gianna Guerrera won in their singles matches, while Elyssa Ofori-Boadu and Luna Hansen carried their doubles match, combining to carry the day for KO. 

 

Our next game is away at Cheshire Academy on Saturday, 4/18. Let’s get that next W, Wyverns!
