V Boys Soccer

The boys played a very impressive Avon Old Farms on Saturday.

The Wyverns unfortunately lost 3-1. Although a loss, the boys played very well. AOF scored early in the middle of the first half due to poor communication leading to an easy tap in on a corner kick. KO still played with a lot of energy and didn’t get discouraged by the goal. They ended the half down 1-0.
AOF came out of halftime hot, as they scored a quick goal in the first 3 minutes in the second half. AOF would answer again with another set piece to lead the game 3-0. KO still kept their heads up and continued to work until the very last minute. Junior Sam Cote ‘24 was able to knock in a header off a corner to bring the deficit back to 2. Although this wasn’t enough to get the boys completely back in the game, they still worked very hard and played very well.
