V Boys Soccer

The boys varsity soccer team took on Choate in a hard fought match but unfortunately did not come up with a result as they fell 1-0.

The lone goal came from Choate in the final 5 minutes of the game from inside the box. The entire squad played well defensively as a unit and looked to minimize chances for the opposition. The Wyverns had a few chances of their own and even hit the crossbar off of a set piece with two minutes before the end of the contest.
Although a win was not earned by the team there were many positives to take away as the team proved themselves through their hard work physically as well as displaying an improvement in their tactical knowledge mentally from previous weeks.
The Wyvern boys will look forward to improve even more in hopes that this can lead to a victory in their next match against Avon Old Farms at home on Saturday.
