V Boys Soccer

The boys varsity team took on Fredrick Gunn School on the road and saw a 3-1 victory over their opposition.

The Wyverns first saw the back of the net in the first half from a through ball by Kaden Rodriguez ‘25 finished by Grant Daigle ‘24 who cut the ball back to the far right post from inside the box on the left. The two then combined again in the 70th minute but this time it was the assist which came from Grant Daigle who played the ball into space to Kaden Rodriguez behind the defensive line. Rodriguez dribbled, past the keeper and had a clean finish to make it 2-0. The final goal for the team came from none other than Alex Levin ‘24 who got fouled in the box and calmly took the penalty and slotted the ball to the left hand side. The Wyverns shortly after conceded in the closing five minutes from a cross into the box by the opposition which was headed in.
